Mr Ward wins ‘Inspirational Primary School Teacher of the Year’ Award
Our very own Mr Ward (a former Sergeant in the British Army) has been teaching at Spalding St Pauls for less than a year, but has had such an impact on the children he teaches.
From inspiring them to embrace fitness as a way of life to educating them about serving in the army, he has already imparted so much knowledge.
The seventh Spalding Guardian and Lincolnshire Free Press Education Awards saw a host of deserving winners and runners up recognised for all that they have achieved. Mr Ward was handed the Inspirational Primary School Teacher of the Year award on Thursday evening in recognition of his hard work.
Mr Ward said:
“I am so thankful to all of the staff and the children. The children have made so much progress and that’s down to them, not me.
“This is my first teaching job and I am absolutely chuffed with this award.”
